In WoW, what makes the best rogue for the alliance?

With the Alliance, the racial traits arent that great so it really comes down to preference. But trait wise, its definately between the Gnomes and Nightelves. Gnomes have the Escape Artist which makes alot of movement impairing abilities useless. But, the Night Elves have Shadowmeld, which makes your stealth more effective, and Quickness, which gives you a +1% Dodge chance, which is VERY useful.

I’d go human for the rep boost, which comes in handy in TBC.

Gnomes are hard to try and target/hit plus they have a nice racial allowing them to break out of traps easily.
Nightelves have a racial stealth that increases a rogue’s normal stealth and they have an increased chance to dodge which is good for rogues.
Either one of these is a better choice over humans or dwarfs.
